Job Description
The Designer will be responsible for the output of one of 3 areas within the design department of Sky News Arabia; Broadcast Design, 3D, and Digital. They will work in a team under the direction of the Senior Designers and Head of Creative. These are hands on creative positions.Key Responsibilities
Working closely with other designers to resource the Design output for Sky News Arabia.
Creating motion graphics, animation sequences or digital design and Brand collateral.
Ensuring the highest standards of quality for the channel’s content and style.
Communicating effectively with all other output areas.
Key Skills, Experience and Educational
Bachelor degree in Graphic design, Visual Communication or similar relevant experience.
3+ years experience in a large national or international broadcast news channel is a plus.
Proven professional track record with 3+ years knowledge of general practices and procedures of Graphic Design and on-air graphics.
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and Digital.
Expert in: Photoshop, Illustrator or any relevant design software.
Excellent eye for detail.
Good Knowledge in software skills in relevant field: After Effects, Viz, 3D platforms, etc…
Fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
Strong artistic sense. Works well under pressure. Team player. Creative. Problem solving skills.
